For a Bird

–Hesse, Das Glasperlenspiel.

A bird one can find (and hopefully will) at Petchary.

  1. Oh how beautiful Benji! Thank you. German is such an expressive language – the word “weich” for example sounds so sweetly yielding. I have had a passion for Hesse since my hippy days. All my books of his were drowned in a hurricane. I must get them back. I only have Siddartha.

  2. Well, if it’s Das Glasperlenspiel/The Glass Bead Game, I have three copies — two in German, the other in English. It would be a small thing for one of those to find its way to the Caribbean =D
